Using the Software 
The PlugNTeach software requires two parts: an installation(Adobe Air) and an activation process(when launching the software) on every computer that will be running the software. It is strongly recommended that you follow this procedure before using that computer in a teaching environment as the installation can take about 15 minutes.

Step 1: Install Adobe Air
The software is built on the Adobe Air framework.  A copy of the Adobe Air software must be installed on the computer in order for the PlugNTeach software to run.  There is a copy of the Adobe Air software on the USB key – look in the Adobe Air folder, then choose the Windows or MacOS folder, depending on the type of computer you are using.   Follow the installation prompts. You may need to restart the computer when installation is complete.  You will need to install Adobe Air on every computer that will be running the Plug’N Teach software.

Step 2: Activate PlugNTeach
To run the PlugNTeach software, choose the Windows or MacOS folder, depending on the type of computer you are using.
Windows - Go into the Windows directory on the USB key, then open the PlugNTeach directory, then double-click the PlugNTeach icon.
Mac OS - Go into the MacOS directory on the USB key, then double-click the PlugNTeach icon.
The first time you run the software on a new computer, you will be prompted to activate it.  Enter your information into the boxes provided including the Activation  Serial Number that was sent to you with the software.  Inaccurate  or incompletion of this form will result in failure of the software in a future launch.  Then, click the GO button.  The software will then be ready for use. You will only need to go through the activation process the very first time you open the software.

Step 3: Create a Shortcut
For ease of use, create a shortcut to the program on your computer’s desktop.
Windows - Go into the Windows directory on the USB key, then open the PlugNTeach directory, then right-click PlugNTeach. Choose Create Shortcut. Drag and drop the new shortcut to your desktop.
Mac OS - Go into the MacOS directory on the USB key, then control-click or right-click the PlugNTeach icon and choose Make Alias. Drag and drop the new alias to your desktop.

To use the software, make sure that the Plug’NTeach USB stick is always plugged into the computer that you are using.  Then, click the shortcut you created to start the program.

Plug ‘NTeach runs from the USB.  Copying or moving files from USB will corrupt operations and breech EULA and copyright.
